Finally some degree of nomallcy will return to the Packers training camp. The fact that one man tried to make himself more important than the game itself should not be forgotten. Many people have tried to blame Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy. The fact is no one tried harder to make this thing work than those two guys.
Brett Farve ment a lot to the history and tradition of the Packers, and that will not be forgetten. But the idea that he expected the team to drop everything and bow down to his demands was over the top. I hope he gets what he wants with the New York Jets, but only time will tell. That fact remains that for the last four years Farve has held the Packers hostage will pondering whether or not he still wanted to play football. Now the Packers can consider this a fresh start and move on. Whether the outcome is good or bad, at some point Farve wasn't going to be with Green bay. This is part of the right of passage, good luck to Brett Farve and go Packers!!!!!!!!
